Wyser is an international company among the top players in Search and Selection, specializing in middle-up management and Executive Search. Integrated in GI Group, a leading developer of global labor market.
In partnership with a Multinational Pharmaceutical company present in Sintra, that is starting in Portugal we are recruiting a CFO that will be responsible for a team of 5 and will lead the financial operations in Portugal.
The profile that we are looking preferably will have:
• A minimum of 10+ years of related experience either in pharmaceutical industry, preferably with a previous experience in a BIG4;
• Significant experience in budgeting, financial reporting and forecasting;
• Strong understanding of COGS, consolidations, standard costing method and financial/managerial accounting principles;
• Experience in communication (written and oral) with management and stakeholders across functions, divisions and geographic regions;
• Strong technical competence in Accounting and knowledge of IFRS;
• Advanced Excel skills; Proficient in Word and PowerPoint
• A pro-active, motivated, flexible and team-orientated personality, with the ability to work collaboratively and under pressure and to meet deadlines;
• Fluency in English and Portuguese.
This professional will have as responsibilities:
• Oversee the Finance teams in Portugal including; Financial Reporting, Tax filings, Payroll, Budgeting and Forecasting, Capital Asset management, Treasury, Sales accounting and Purchasing accounting;
• Oversee the preparation of the legal entity financial statements and tax filings of each of the business units;
• Manage and sign off on consolidated reporting packages to Corporate;
• Manage external financial reporting;
• Coordinate quarterly reviews;
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes and related analysis;
• Develop business unit financial models and data, simulations and sensitivity analysis;
• Perform quantitative analysis of business unit performance;
• Prepare financial status reports and provides analysis to senior leadership;
• Engage in business unit financial KPI reporting for each reporting period;
• Create and communicate reporting, presentations and dashboards for senior leadership;
• Assist in the coordination and communication with external auditors along with internal staff;
• Assist with ERP implementation including ensuring its feasibility for each company and costs.
