We currently recruit an Accounting & Controlling Specialist (M/F) to be Responsible for the financial budgeting, forecasting, planning, and analysis as well as internal control for a Portuguese company specialized in digital marketing and lead generation, they offer services customer service; collection and recovery; loyalty and retention; back office and technical support.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the financial budgeting, forecasting, planning, and analysis as well as internal controlling, Budgeting, and forecasting process;
• Tracking, reporting, and analyzing budget and forecasting variances;
• Reviewing the company's financial results and statements to ensure maximum accuracy ;
• Preparing month-closing reporting, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements;
• Recommending changes in operations, processes, and procedures to improve financial performance;
• Ensuring compliance with legal regulations;
• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue;
• Recognition
• Support month-end and year-end close process;
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial reporting;
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance;
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting;
• Manage and comply with legal reporting requirements and tax filings/laws;
• Track and document workflows and business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Profile

• Certified degree in Accounting
• 4+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures • Experienced in creating/evaluating financial statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Fluent in English and Spanish is a plus;
• Advanced Excel skills;
• Team player and high communication skills.
