Wyser, a company within GI Group Holding, is a global player in Recruitment and Selection for Management & Leadership positions.

Our client is a Portuguese company specializing in the development, construction, and operation of solar photovoltaic projects, and is now recruiting a Senior Asset Manager.

With a growing presence in both national and international markets, the company manages the full project lifecycle — from licensing and engineering to implementation and operational management — delivering sustainable and efficient solutions aligned with global energy‑transition goals.


Responsabilities:

  • Oversee the operational and commercial performance of a diversified portfolio of solar PV, onshore wind and battery storage assets across Iberia;
  • Implementation of an in-house structure for the portfolio's management;
  • Support on the day-to-day company business focusing on the revenue stream optimization;
  • Oversee preventive maintenance plans, spare-part strategies and warranty enforcement across technologies;
  • Commercial & contract Management;
  • Prepare investment cases for repowering, hybridization and augmentation projects;
  • Deliver variance analysis and optimization proposals to governance bodie;.
  • Coordination with the financial asset management department;
  • Ensure compliance with Iberian grid codes, environmental permits, and cybersecurity standards;
  • Benchmark fleet performance across Iberia and implement continuous improvement programs;
  • Provide transparent reporting to internal governance, lenders, and investors; lead monthly performance reviews;
  • Support M&A and construction teams with technical due diligence and COD readiness.


Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Energy; MBA or finance qualification a plus;
  • 10+ years’ experience in solar PV, wind and storage in Iberia markets. Biomass, hydro and offshore wind as a plus;
  • 5–10+ years in asset management for utility-scale solar PV wind and storage in Iberia;
  • Strong knowledge of Iberian market operations and regulatory frameworks;
  • Experience with PPAs, hedging strategies, and merchant risk management;
  • Proficiency in SCADA systems, CMMS, and performance analytics tools;
  • Analytical mindset with ability to link technical performance to commercial impact;
  • Contract negotiation and vendor performance management;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills;
  • Proactive and organized in fast-paced, cross-functional environments;
  • Self-awareness, adaptability and collaborative spirit;
  • Availability to travel to sites across Portugal and Spain.
  • Tools knowledge: PVSyst, PVSol, AutoCad, Microsoft tools.

Under Directive (EU) 2023/970 and in compliance with pay‑transparency obligations, the reference remuneration for this position corresponds to an indicative gross annual range between €60,000 and €75,000, to which the role‑related benefits are added.
